Zachary Scott "Zac" Cummings, 24, of Sissonville passed away June 26, 2017.
Zac was a 2011 Graduate of Sissonville High School, member of The United States Marine Corp., employee of AEP as an operator and member of Derricks Creek Community Church. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing and riding trips with friends and family.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Fred and Barbara Cummings and great grandmother, Victoria Ward.
Survivors include his wife Cassandra Lynn Cummings; children, Isabella Faith Cummings and Hunter Joseph Miller; parents Scott and Lisa Cummings; sister, Sydney Cummings and future brother-in-law, Dustin Houdyshell; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sue Stanley; maternal great grandmothers, Eileen Stanley and Mary Price; uncles, Daniel Cummings and wife Donna, John Cummings and very special niece, Alexus Cummings and Eric Stanley and wife Lora; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Melissa Stowers and Sharline Meadows; his wife's brother and sister, Justin and Marissa Stowers. Also survived by other family members and many, many very close friends.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Friday June 30, 2017 at Sissonville High School Gymnasium with Rev. Carl Casto and Rev. Loretta Isaiah officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by the U.S. Marine Corp., In the Field of Honor will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from noon until service time.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations in the Isabella Cummings and Hunter Miller Future Fund at City National Bank.
