Willie Mae Lacy, 91, of Charleston passed away May 21, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House. Willie loved crocheting, sewing, reading, cooking and gardening. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lacy; brother, Carl Jordan; sisters, Bea Flinchum, Westy Petty and Lois Dean Surviving her are sons, Jack Montgomery and wife Thelma and Dwayne Lacy all of Charleston; daughter, Debra Valentine of Charleston; grandchildren, Sandra Haynes, Jack L. Montgomery, Jr., William Carte, Robert Carte, Danielle Carte Ross, DeAnna Lacy, Billy Ray Lacy and Taylor Valentine; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Her loving dog and faithful companion, Trixie, also survives her. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday May 24, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Vanoy officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
