William F. Lloyd, 80, of Charleston passed away August 25, 2009. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. He worked at a Buick Dealership for 35 years, and also worked for West Virginia State College for 10 years. William was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Lloyd. Surviving are; his wife of 56 years, Elinor Hill Lloyd; children, William "Frank" Lloyd, II and wife Cindy of Charleston, and Kathy Lloyd of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Bill Lloyd of Chesapeake, Virginia, Kevin Lloyd and wife Brandy of Charleston, Rachel Means and husband Chris of Charleston, and Joshua Fulks of Okeechobee, Florida; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday August 28 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with Pastor V.P. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, with military graveside rites by American Legion Clendenin Post No. 61.
