William Cleatus Letart, 95, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025.

Known to many as "Cleat", he was born and raised in West Virginia and lived a life marked down by devotion, to his work, his faith, and his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tresa Letart, seven siblings, and his daughter Gloria Ross.

Cleat dedicated more than 55 years of service as an electronic technician at Derek Video of Charleston, WV, where he was well respected for his knowledge and work ethic. Outside of his professional life, he was a devoted member of the Elk Valley Apostolic Church in Pinch, WV, where his faith and fellowship were sources of strength and joy throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving children, Mark Letart of St. Albans, WV, Lora Letart of Charleston WV, Elliot Letart (Kelli) of Daniels WV, Robert Letart (Judy) of Florida, Larry Letart of Charleston WV, and Bill Letart of Little River , SC . Cleat is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-children, all of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday June 2, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Cunningham Parker and Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston WV. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Dunbar, WV.

Cleat will be remembered for his unwavering faith, strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
