William J. "Joe" Huston, Jr., 68 of Charleston, WV passed away October 28, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Division after a brave two year battle with esophageal cancer. He was born May 7, 1953 in Charleston, WV to the late William Sr. and Betty Holstein Huston. Also, preceding in death is his brother Jerry Huston. Joe was a construction superintendent having retired from Central Contracting and had previously been employed with Green Valley Bridge. Joe had a sense for living an adventurous life, he was a barrel of fun and just lived life to the absolute fullest! He had served in the United States Air Force, he was a member of Sports Car Club of America where he raced Spec Miata, he enjoyed scuba diving with sharks, fishing, hunting, camping. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Connie Huston; son Jess Huston of Tallahassee, FL; sisters Jenny (Rodney) Tigor of Elkview, WV, Judie (Jim) Burnette of Walton, WV; grandson Jaetyn Huston of Tallahassee, FL; in laws Floyd and Mercedes Sayre of Pt. Pleasant, WV; sister in law Christine (Rick) Vaglienti of Morgantown, WV; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a service held at a later date and his body will be cremated.
