William "Billy" Hicks, 60, of Sissonville, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday May 29, 2018 with his loving wife and family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Judy Hicks and brother Fred Hicks.
Billy loved hunting, fishing, racing, shopping, gardening and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He also loved the beach and cruises with family. Billy would do anything to help anyone and was loved by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory- his wife of 17 years, Carolyn Hicks; sons, Bill and girlfriend Terra of South Charleston and Justin of Sissonville; daughters, Jessie and Nikki, son-in-law and racing buddy William Ervin, all of Sissonville. His wonderful grandchildren, Lance, Dalton, Wyatt, Trenton, Ayden, Brynlee and Liam. Brothers, Rick Hicks and wife Connie, Mike Hicks
and wife Debbie, David Hicks, sister, Anna Hicks and ex-wife Joyce Taylor and The Taylor Family. Many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Phillips officiating. A Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until service time on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery, Dunbar.
