William Manford Cavender, 95, of Charleston passed away November 14, 2014 at CAMC Memorial Division. Manford was retired from Libbey Owens Ford, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of Charleston Mountain Mission. Preceding him in death were his parents, Samuel and Annie Louise Jordan Cavender; wife, Nellie and six sisters. Survivors include his son, Steven A. Cavender of Charleston; granddaughter, Chelsea Grimm and husband Jon of Columbus, Ohio; great grandchildren, Jackson and Levi Grimm and sister, Marietta Wisniewski of Charleston. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday November 17, 2014 at Charleston Mountain Mission Chapel with the Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Perry Cemetery, Pinch, WV. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.
