William "Billy" Russell Bowen, 63, of Charleston went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2023.

Billy was born December 11, 1959 in Charleston to the late Russell "Buzz" Bowen and Loraine Bowen.  In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sons, Derek Bowen and Jason Bowen; and siblings, Henry Boggess, Nancy Bowen, and Janice Bowen.

Billy was a native of West Virginia and was a retired Brick Mason.  He was a member of the Hissom Tabernacle Church.  He lived in Boston and was a Boston Sports Fanatic.

Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Jenilee Bowen and her Fiance, Shaun Conway of Boston, Massachusetts; siblings, Becky Bowen (Chuck Harding), Linda Kuhn (Glen), Susie Ray, and Ricky Bowen; grandchildren, Bryana Bowen, Calynn Wills, Jordan Hamon, Myalee Martin, Kaylee martin, Jackson Bowen; great-granddaughter, Everly; companion, Patty Epling; Patty's daughters, whom Billy considered his own, Sonya Peck and Amber Keener; Sonya's children, Matthew, Shane, and Caleb; Amber's children, Destiny, Mirah, and AJ; friends, Kimberly "Frenchy" Means, the whole Scott family; and numerous nieces and nephews.
