William O. "Bill" Wilson, 74 passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2017.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Donzella "Donnie" Wilson, and his two children, Kandy Wilson Ball and William O. Wilson, Jr., "J.R.". Also by his 4 grandchildren which were the love of his life, Kayla and Kaitlin Ball, and Sophia and Joey Wilson. He is also survived by his sisters, Geraldine I. Imel, Janet Peterman and husband Chuck, Phyllis Fugate and husband Eugene and Kay Markham, three nieces and two nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Edith Wilson and sister, Carol Miller.
He was a lifetime resident of Charleston and a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. He was employed by Pfaff and Smith, Trojan Steel and retired from Charleston Steel. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and International Union of Operating Engineers.
Bill was an avid NASCAR Fan and enjoyed working and playing with the Antique Cars.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday also at the Funeral Home.
