William H. "Bill" Bostic, 77, of Sissonville, passed away February 16, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House after a short illness. He was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, was a Air Force Veteran of Korean War, Retired from Appalachian Power Company, Member of Charleston Elks Lodge #202, Coached and Umpired Youth Softball and Baseball Teams in the Sissonville Area, Attended Fishers Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Mary Johnson Bostic, parents Hank and Irene Bostic, and special friend Kathy Slaman. Survived by son, William H. "Bill" Bostic, II and his wife Lynn of Sissonville; daughter, Jackie Radcliffe and her husband Dan of Sissonville; grandchildren, grandson, W.H. "Billy" Bostic, III and companion Tracy Fabian of Greenville, South Carolina; granddaughter, Ashley Radcliffe, and her Fiancée Andrew Dawson of Vienna; extended family, Brian, Marie, Zack and Adam Slaman; Kevin and Ann Carte; Shelby, Allie and Lakin Cobb - Frank Slaman. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday February 20, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery, Sissonville.
