William E. Russell, 43, of Sissonville, went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2015. Mr. Russell was the owner of Five R's Contracting. He also loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Alicia Russell of Sissonville; children, Jameson Russell, Dalton Russell and Braleigh Russell, all of Sissonville; mother and step-father, Pamela and Paul Maynard of Chesapeake, OH; sister, Samantha Dillon and husband, Gary of Chesapeake, OH; mother and father-in-law, Connie and Philip Burdette of Sissonville; sister-in-law, Tara Asbury and husband, Bill of Sissonville; very special niece whom he loved like a daughter, Makenna Smith; and nieces, Jessica, Megan and Sara. Also surviving are a host of extended family, friends, and former and current employees. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at New Family Thaxton Cemetery, Wolf Pen. Visitation with the family will be 2 hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
