William W. "Bill" Myers 59 of Charleston passed away February 10, 2013 at home. Bill was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam and retired from the U.S. Postal Services on March 31, 2012. He was an avid sports fan; his favorite teams were WVU and the Green Bay Packers. Bill loved golf and was awarded several trophies, participated in The Annual Chandler Drive Memorial Golf Tournament and loved Karaoke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Holly Myers, Jr. and Myrtle Horton Myers; brother, Dennis Myers. Survivors include his brother, Ronald Myers and his wife Carol of Sissonville; sister, Ginger Wolfe and her husband Roger of Charleston; nieces, Teresa Ratliff, Rhonda Dawson and Beth Parrent and nephew, Ronald Myers, II. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 14, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Hedrick officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday February 13 from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
