Warren Brady Shamblin 89 of Sissonville passed away February 6, 2015 at the home of his daughter, Rose Welch. He was formerly employed by Kanawha Mfg. Company as a shaker operator, was a loving father, grandfather, great and great great grandfather, and enjoyed his gardening. Preceding him in death were his parents, Clarence Brady and Martha Alice Shamblin; wife Delsie Mae Hackney Shamblin; sons, Jerry "Buck" Shamblin and Donald "Bowl" Shamblin; daughter, Julie Shamblin; brothers, John, Pete and Sammy Shamblin; sisters, Audrey Moore, Agness Cochren, Donnie Shamblin Tiney Gay and Dorothy Pearl. Survivors include his son, Larry "Butch" Shamblin and wife Brenda of Sissonville; daughter, Joyce Miller and husband Frank of Kenna; son, Ronald "Newt" Shamblin and wife Lois of Sissonville; daughter, Rita Simon and husband John of Kenna and daughter, Rose "Rosie" Welch and husband Mike "Bubba" of Sissonville; sisters, Betty and June Withrow both of Charleston. 23 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews who are also left to mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday February 10, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Allen "Butch" Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday also at the Funeral Home.
