Wanda Louise Garnes Miller 81 of Goldtown passed away May 11, 2013. Wanda was a Graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Class of 1949, Retired from West Virginia American Water Company Charleston with almost 46 years of services and attended Fishers Chapel United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband Rev. Jackie Lee Miller; parents Ausber and Icie Detamore Garnes; half-brother, Waldo Garnes; brothers, Robert Harold Garnes and William Arland Garnes; sister, V. Beatrice "Bea" Garnes Smark; infant nephew, Paul David Smark and Niece Karen Howy. Survivors include her Nieces, Patty Anderson of New Cumberland, WV and Beverly Hetrick and Donna Klein of Portland, Oregon; Nephew Rodney Smark of Portland, Oregon and Close Cousin Thelma McClanahan of Charleston. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 16, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Scarberry and the Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services on Thursday.
