Virginia Scruggs-Hudson, 91, of Sissonville passed away August 5, 2010 at home after a long illness. She was a Homemaker, a Loving Mother and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her first Husband, Eugene Hayes Scruggs, second Husband Leon Hudson, Parents, Snowden and Susie Burdette,10 Brothers, and 3 Sisters. Surviving her is Daughter, Delores Cavender of Sissonville; Son, Eugene Scruggs and wife Lonnie of St. Albans. Grandchildren, Tim and Lorna Cavender of Sissonville; Scott and Gretchen Cavender of Charleston; Shelly and Don Baily of Charleston; Keven Scruggs and Girlfriend Sandra of Poca; Nicki and Marlo Scruggs of St. Albans, and Jennifer Williams of St. Albans. 5 Great Grand and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday August 8, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
