Virginia "Jeni" Lanier, 51, of Sissonville, passed away April 6, 2010. Jeni enjoyed all out door activities; fishing, boating, camping, gardening, and horseback riding, she also enjoyed painting, and loved all animals. Jeni was a loving wife, mother, daughter and a friend to all. Surviving are; her husband of 33 years, Roy Lanier; daughters, Meagan Lanier of Louisville, Kentucky and Erin Lanier of Sissonville; parents, Joe and Barbara Smith of Sissonville; mother-in-law, Monetia Lanier of Sissonville; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Her wishes were to be cremated following services. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston.
