Obituary
Virginia Ann "Genny" Mooney, 87, formerly of St. Albans, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bluefield, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ellis Mooney, and sister, Phyllis McCutcheon.
Surviving are her sons, Tim Mooney (Ellen) of Wilmington, NC, and Randy Mooney (Amy) of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Jason Mooney (Heather Leigh) of Houston, TX, Charles Mooney of Wilmington, NC, Jessica Mooney (Greg Fisher) of Pittsburgh, PA, James Mooney (Tammy) of Honolulu, HI and Katy Mooney Jones (Corbin) of Augusta, GA; along with five great grandchildren, Luca Mooney, Henry Fischer, Sam Fischer, Carson Jones and Jackson Mooney. Virginia is also survived by brother, James Comer (Janice) of Sumter, SC, and sister Wanda Williams of New Martinsville.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 3, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 Washington Street West, Charleston, WV 25302, at 2 PM. Viewing will be at the funeral home at 1 PM.
