Virginia Marie Burdette, 86, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away December 2, 2011 at Hope Hospice. She was born on July 22, 1925 in Charleston, West Virginia, a child of Estil L. and Gladys Mazie Walker Baldwin. A resident of Fort Myers since 2002, she previously lived in Charleston, West Virginia where she worked in the hospital as a unit clerk. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, T. Russell Burdette; sons, Rex Burdette and his wife, Carol of Holly, Michigan, and Ronnie Burdette and his wife, Linda of Fort Myers, Florida; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her sister, Lena Burdette and her husband Otis of Charleston, West Virginia. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday December 8, 2011 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Monday officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM until service time also on Thursday.
