Violet Lorraine Cummings 81 of Charleston passed away August 15, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Division. She was a Homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents William Thomas and Orthie Opal Greiver Holley; brother, Charles Ray Holley and sisters, Elizabeth Holley, Freda Evans, Pauline Roberts and Hazel Bumgardner. Survivors include her sons, Roy Lee Cummings and wife Deann and Gary Wayne Cummings and wife Christine all of Charleston; daughters, Shelbie Pomeroy of Charleston, Vickie and Bob Burgess, of Dunbar and Patricia Cummings of Charleston; sister, Juanita Holley Osbourne; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday August 18, 2016 at North Charleston Apostolic Church, 2408 6th Avenue West, Charleston, WV 25387 with Pastor James Chessor officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also at the church.
