Violet Arlene Busby Violet Arlene Busby, 81, of Charleston Passed away, June 12, 2013 in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. She was a member of the North Charleston Apostolic Church and a self employed caregiver. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Busby; brothers, Bill and Gene Hunt; and sisters, Betty McDougal and Maxine Nelson. Surviving are; her son, Stanley Busby, Jr. and his wife, Julie of Glenville; granddaughter, Isabella Busby; sister, Leota Jones of Ohio; brother, Glen Hunt of Ohio. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at North Charleston Apostolic Church, with Pastor Anthony Moss officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
