Bonnie Legg, age 85, departed this life, Sunday December 24, 2017.
Bonnie retired after 40 years as a domestic housekeeper.
Born April 24, 1932, in Sissonville, she was the daughter of the late, Emsey "Pat" Baldwin and the late Julia Humphries Baldwin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noble F. Legg; grandson Adam O'Connor; three brothers, Howard Baldwin, Aundel Baldwin Lyndon Baldwin and a beloved sister, Lenore.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary O'Connor and husband, Roger, of Charleston; Saundra Hamon and husband Richard of Winchester, KY. In addition she enjoyed time spent with her surviving grandchildren, Austin O'Connor and wife, Tera; Lauren O'Connor, who also served as caregiver; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Emily, Aaron and Adrian and niece, Robin Carter and great nephew Jarred Carter.
Also surviving are three sisters, Pauline Patton of Nitro LouAnn Simmons of Given, Norma June Price of Sissonville; and two brothers, Jesse Baldwin of Charleston and Woody Baldwin of Hurricane and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dunbar Care Center for their outstanding care for Bonnie the last three years of life.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
