Tina Carson, 48, of Charleston, went home to be with other family August 12, 2013. Tina was the cook at the Smokehouse Restaurant for the past 20 years. She enjoyed shopping and Elvis Presley. She also cherished her children and grandchildren. Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Carson; brothers, Charles "Butch" Boggs, Johnny Lee Boggs and Kenneth Ray Carson; and sister, Peggy Sue Boggs. Survivors include her father, James Burdette of Charleston; children, Tiffany Carson and John "Jay" Kinder, both of Charleston; sisters, Geneva "Sissy" Bird of Charleston and Joyce Holloway of Alabama; grandkids whom she cherished, Tymir "TyTy" Carson and Ayla Marie Kinder; and niece, Robin "Jaws" Rawlings. She also leaves behind many dear friends to mourn her passing. Funeral service will be Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
