Thelma Mae Jarrett Thelma Mae Jarrett, 82, of Kenna, formerly of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, February 21, 2012, following a short illness. She was born February 4, 1930 to the late, Joseph and Macel Price. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by brothers, Russell Price Richard Price and sister, Kathleen Young. Thelma was a lifelong member of the Chandler Drive Church of God, and retired from Smith and Smith Dental Office. She enjoyed retirement, family, the beach, reading and shopping. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clarence Dexter Jarrett; daughter, Debbie Watson and her husband Darren of Kenna; son, Mark D. Jarrett and his wife, Nena of Charleston; brother, Bob Price and his wife, Betty of Kenna; sisters-in-law, Garnet Price, and Kay Price; grandchildren, Amber Binion, Lee Watson, Christina Knapp and Mark D. Jarrett, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Cole, Brooke, Jules and Braxton. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. David McCormick and the Rev. Tim Warden officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Saturday February 25, 2012 at the funeral home.
