Thelma M. Dye Saunders 85 of Charleston went home to be with our Lord February 7, 2013 at home. She was born on July 7, 1927 to the late Thomas Winford and Fairlena Gertrude Hudson Dye. Thelma was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert L. Saunders, Sr.; sons, Winford L. and Robert Jr., and her daughter Alma Ruth. She was a wonderful wife, mother and she will be greatly missed by her sons, Tim of Georgia, Homer "Bucky" of Texas, Joe and William of Charleston; daughters, Marlene Crowder and Georgette Settles of Charleston. She left this world having 28 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. May God receive his child into His Kingdom. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Sunday February 10, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating.
