Rev. Teddy McKeown 93 of Charleston went home to be with the Lord March 4, 2014 at his home. He was a retired Coal Miner from Carbon Fuel, having pastored several churches in the Kanawha Valley, was the District Superintendent with the West Virginia Gospel Tabernacle Association, and was a Member of Sugar Creek Community Mission Church, Charleston. Preceding him in death were his parents Frank George and Tina Barr McKeown and his loving wife Myrtle Layne McKeown, daughter, Kay Frances Stone and brother, Clayton McKeown. Survivors include his daughter Virginia E. Crowder of Campbells Creek; Carolyn Jean Diaz of Charleston and Judy Wheeler also of Campbells Creek. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who are also left to mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 8, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. John Hensley and Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation with the family will be Friday March 7, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM also at the Funeral Home.
