Susan Irene Jones (Mace), 78, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Up until the end, Susan maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty, and deep love for her family and friends. She expressed gratitude for her long and fulfilling life.

Susan was a devoted homemaker and caregiver. She was a talented artist and craftsperson, with her needlepoint creations admired as true works of art. She also enjoyed a successful career, retiring as a retail General Manager, where she was respected for her leadership and dedication.

Susan was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Deborah Ann Jones. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bruce Jones of Charleston, sister Barbara Tinnel (William) of Maryland, daughter Cynthia Bonham, son Michael Jones (Allison), daughter Vanessa Allison (Craig), all of Charleston. Grandchildren Sierra Jones, Taylor Jones (Jason), Anthony Battlo, Shiann Hossler, Olivia Jones, Madison Jones, Tristen Allison, Gaven Allison, and Rylen Allison.

Her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion will live on in all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 31st, 2025 at 1:00pm at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
