Susan "Susie" Allene Williams Carter, 64, of Charleston passed away March 15, 2023 after a long illness.

Susie was a former employee of Wimmens Cleaning Service and a Supervisor for Kanawha Janitorial for many years before residing as a homemaker.
Susie was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lester; brothers, Richard and Roger Lester; and her husband, Leroy Williams.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, Thomas Michael Carter II; brother, James Lester; sisters, Cathy Holly and Christy Harding; children, Jessie and Michael Williams, Melissa Ellison, and Cathy Jaggers.

Service will be at Noon Friday, March 24, 2023 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 W. Washington St., Charleston with Pastor Timmy Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
