Sue Taylor Pinney, 77, of Charleston passed away peacefully at home after a sudden illness. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother and retired from Women's and Children's Hospital. She was an active Member of West Charleston Baptist Church, had a good heart, and sense of humor. She was creative and enjoyed staying involved with her church and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her son Eddy Pinney, 1 brother, and 4 sisters. Surviving her is her daughter, Nancy Herholdt and her husband Jeff of Sissonville; grandchildren, Amy and Kelsey Herholdt, Brandon and Byron Pinney; daughter-in-law, Lea Anne Pinney; brother, Manget Taylor and sister, Faye Lowe, both of Asheville, NC. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Cannada officiating. It was her wishes to be cremated, there will be no visitation. Private burial will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Asheville, NC.
