Obituary
Steven Cavender, 68, of Charleston passed away January 8, 2019.
He was born on July 17, 1950 to the late Manford and Nellie Cavender. He was a 1968 Graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, and retired from the West Virginia Department of Workers Compensation.
Steve was a Veteran of the United States Army who fought in the Vietnam War, and was a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. He was also a member of The American Contract Bridge League.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Chelsea Grimm and husband Jon of Toledo, Ohio and grandchildren Jackson and Levi Grimm.
All are invited to attend a Gathering of Friends and Family that will be held Saturday January 12 from 12 pm to 2 pm, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home.
