Shirley Lee Smith, 81, of Sissonville WV, passed away January 22nd, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Shirley (Lee) Smith was born February 22nd, 1944, to Henry & Bertha Smith of Charleston WV. Lee was a Charleston native and spent his whole life in the area. Lee retired from Welding incorporated where he dedicated over 35 years of service.

Lee was preceded in death by both his mother (Bertha Smith) & father (Henry Smith), siblings John Henry Smith, Laura Proctor (Etta) and granddaughter Lauren Jividen.

He is survived by his sister Mary Avalee Brown (Grant Brown), daughters Heidi Smith, Angela Jividen, Valorie Smith & his grandson Tre Morgan.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association in his honor. Lee was an avid animal lover and throughout the years had adopted many companions from KCHA throughout his lifetime.
