Shirley Mae Miller Humphreys,
81, of Charleston passed away peacefully on November 30, 2018. Shirley, daughter of Henry and Ethel Miller was born November 2, 1937. She married her high school sweetheart Lloyd Gene Humphreys on November 25, 1955 right after she graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School.
She had five brothers and one sister, which all preceded her in death.
Shirley worked several years at Prudential Life Insurance. After her husband become a Pastor she worked several jobs. She worked for 15 years at Ed's All Clean Disposal Service; she also sold Stanley Products.
Shirley was a wonderful Pastor's wife through the years and often sang in the choir and solos at the church's they attended.
She was an active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Elkview. Shirley had no children but she was loved by many.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.
