Shirley E. Burdette, 82, of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at CAMC Memorial Division, SICU, surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Laurie Tate; brothers, Robert, Charles and James Tate.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edmond A. Burdette; daughter, Linda Legg and Daniel Legg; daughter, Kathy Payne and Richard Payne, all of Sissonville.
Grandchildren, Danielle McCutcheon (Michael), Jeremy Payne, E. Jonathan Payne, Joshua Wilcox (David). Great Grandchildren, Zach McCutcheon, Zoey McCutcheon, Ethan Payne, Kyleigh Payne, McKinley Payne, Kayden Payne, Karley Payne, Kamron Payne and Elaina Parsons-Payne.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday February 25, 2019 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Vance and Rev. Harold Boggs officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, February 24, also at the Funeral Home.
