Shirley Mae Badillo, 68, of Charleston, passed away December 6, 2009. She was born December 3, 1941 in Logan to the late Owen and Gladys (Brewer) Mabry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Darla Mae Miller, son Kym; sister, Betty; and brother, Ronnie. Surviving her are daughters, Veronica Miller, Michelle Victine Badillo, and Carmaleena Collette-Badillo; son, Virgil (Nancy) Miller; sisters, Susie, Marcy and Dixie; brothers, Charles, Larry, Tommy, Robert, Lee, Jimmy and Kenny; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Shirley was a humanitarian who loved helping others. She also loved to cook. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston. Burial of her urn will be at a later date at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
