Obituary

Shannon Brent Moss
Shannon Moss, 35, of Charleston passed away at home, November 14, 2016, from cardiac death due to a viral infection.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles Snodgrass; grandparents, Clayton and Wanda Moss, and father-in-law, "Mutt" Perdue.
Shannon was a 1999 graduate of Sissonville High School, a 2001 graduate of NIT, and was employed by CASCI.
He was hilarious and could always be counted on to provide the comic relief in any situation. He was a wonderful husband and son, who always made his parents proud. Shannon loved books, music and movies. He wanted to write a screenplay one day. He was an animal lover and always wanted to help fund the animal shelter; in the spirit of that please donate to Kanawha-Charleston Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
Shannon is survived by his wife, Stacey Moss; parents, David and Patty Moss; brother, Matt Moss; grandma, Rachel Snodgrass; mother-in-law, Jean Perdue and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his spoiled and beloved dog, Oscar, that he referred to as his, "little buddy".
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, November 20th at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Rance Berry officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
In honoring Shannon's wishes, he will be cremated.
One of Shannon's favorite quotes was, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away." Shannon's breaths were far too few, but I certainly hope there were plenty of moments that took his breath away. I will love you forever. Stacey
