Sandra Nadine Young Stricklen, 68, of Charleston passed away July 27, 2009 at CAMC General Division. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Roy and Nola Young; sisters, Cloda Statts, Kathleen Strickland, Lee Malone and Joan Abbott, and brother, Roy Young, Jr. Survived by sons, Mark Stricklen and his wife Jennifer, Chip Stricklen and his wife Jessica, and Barry Stricklen and his wife Becky; daughter, Renee Johnson and her husband Butch all of Sissonville; sisters, Boots Nida of Elkins and Francine Sutcliffe of Pocatello, Idaho; brothers, Jerry Young of Cross Lanes and Ronald Young of Pinch, and Nine Grandchildren are left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 1, 2009 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the Funeral Home.
