Ruth D. Snodgrass Ruth D. Snodgrass, 82, of Dunbar, went home to walk with the Lord, January 18, 2011. Ruth was a loving wife and mother, a Christian and attended Starcher Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Beatty Means and Carletta Virginia Medley Means; brother, Ben Junior Means; and a sister, Margaret Vincent. Surviving are; husband, Elmer T. Snodgrass; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky K. and April Snodgrass of Charleston, Bradford A. and Elizabeth Snodgrass of South Charleston; daughters and a son-in-law, Billie K. and Paul Layne of Kenna, and Jacqueline Ann Baker of Charleston; sister, Mary Bolin of Charleston; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorials are suggested to Pine Top Church of God, 1611 Kenwood Road, Charleston, WV 25314. Graveside service and burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar, with the Rev. Tom Moore officiating. There will be no visitation.
