Ruth Evelyn Goins 83 of South Charleston went home to be with Jesus Monday March 18, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House West with her family by her side. She was a member of the Maranatha Fellowship Church, wonderful mother and friend to many. She loved Gardening and Cooking. She was the daughter of the late Sanford and Hazel Haynes and was preceded in death by her husband Roy, Grandson Derick Childress and her brother Alfred Haynes. Survivors are her sons, Curtis and wife Connie of Charleston and Randy of South Charleston; daughters, Donna Childress and husband Neil of St. Albans and Kim Stepp and husband Rockie of Dunbar; brother, Carroll Haynes of Charleston. 9 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday March 22, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
