Ruth Ellen Gibson 76 of Vinton, Ohio formerly of Charleston passed away July 22, 2017.
She loved living and working on her farm and being with friends and family.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Barbara Ann Perry, Phyllis Campbell, Mary Lou Thompson and Susan Hanson; brothers, Thomas Randall Perry, II and Eddie Perry.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Marshall K. "Sam" Gibson; sister, Paula Perry Rudder; sisters-in-law, Brenda Carol Harvey, Barbara Jean Jones, Wilma Lee Rice and Patsy Legg; nephews, Scott A. Perry, Glen Harvey Lee, Todd and Jerry Hanson; and her loving Dog Baby.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Raymon Cobb officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests Memorial Donations in Ruth's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
