Russell Burdette, 90, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on April 1, 2016 at home. He was born in Charleston WV June 25, 1925. A resident of Ft. Myers since 2002, and was a member of Southwest Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, FL. He previously lived in Charleston WV where he worked as a Machinist. He is survived by his sons, Rex Burdette and wife Carol of Holly, MI and Ronnie Burdette and wife Linda of Ft. Myers, FL; nine grandchildren, Sara Fisher, Brandon Ball, Raven Ball, Kristin Burdette, Tyler Burdette, Jack Burdette Dakota Shockley, Reagan Host and Eden Host; one great great grandchild, Jude Fisher all of Michigan; sister, Hilda George of Charleston. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday April 8, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Monday officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday April 7 also at the Funeral Home.
