Roy Allen Legg, 58, of Charleston passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2010. He was born in January 14, 1952 in Charleston. He was employed by the City of Charleston for 15 years. He was a Mountaineer Fan and Loved WVU Football. Roy was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. Roy was preceded in death by his Father, William Buster Legg; Son, Rickie Allen Legg, and Sister, Joyce D'Arco. He is survived by his Faithful Companion of 25 years Judy Michaels; Daughter, Kim Legg and Boyfriend Larry of Charleston; Grandchildren, Cierra Holstein, Lyndzie Legg, and Jesse Holstein. Also surviving him is his Mother, Lula Legg; Sisters, Debbie Humphreys of Charleston; Becky Dean and her husband Mike of St. Albans; Brother, Jimbo Legg and his wife Kay of Charleston. His Dog Ginger, Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends also are left to mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2011 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Belcher officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by Clendenin Post 61, will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
