Roxalee Rice 89 of Charleston passed away December 29, 2015 at The Cedar Ridge Center, Pocatalico. Roxalee was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ochie Cavender Whittington, brother, Clayton Whittington and sister, Margie Kiser. Survivors include her brother, Winiford Whittington and wife Barbara; sisters, Lillian Wines and Norma Thaxton and husband Roscoe, all of Charleston. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews who are also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Dana E. Reed officiating. Burial will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville.
