Rosetta Mae "Granny" Harrison, 78, of Charleston, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 27, 2014. Rosetta attended the Elizabeth Baptist Church. She was retired from the Kanawha County Board of Education. Granny loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Vina (Walker) Haynes; and sons, Jerry and Eddie Harrison. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Melvin "Bud" Harrison; her daughter and her husband, Terry and Jimmy Parsons of Charleston; her son and his wife, Teddy and Debbie Harrison of Sissonville; her daughter and her husband, Sheila and Rev. Mike Good of Sissonville; grandchildren, Shad Harrison of Tampa, FL, Michelle Rogof of Jacksonville, FL, Robin Parsons of Charleston, Jessica Carr of Morgantown, Eddie Harrison of Sissonville, Tara Ferrier and Mark Harrison, both of North Carolina, Travis Harrison, Sabrina Provenzano and Melissa Provenzano, all of Sissonville; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Willis Haynes of Floridaand Bobby Haynes of Charleston; and sisters, Louise Kiser of Charleston, Lucille Counts of Jackson County and Kay Francis Lewis of Charleston. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 PM Wednesday also at the funeral home.
