Rose M. Good, 79, of Charleston passed away May 1, 2023 in Teays Valley Center after a long illness.

Rose was born March 15, 1944 in Charleston to the late Delmar Burdette Sr. and Thelma Burdette.  She was a homemaker, taking care of her sons and grandchildren. She was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church, Sissonville.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl Good; and siblings, Jerry, Leo, Lawrence, Junior, May Shaffer, Janet Haynes, and Mary Jane Carpenter.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Wayne and Darrell Good both of Charleston; siblings, Loraine Newhouse, Arnold, and Dale; grandchildren, Tracy and Haley Good, and Alicia Russell; and three great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Erica and Deborah for their help as caregivers, and also the Nurses and Doctors at Teays Valley Center.

Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 8, 2023 at the New Prospect Church, Sissonville with Pastor Jerry Naylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Graveyard.

A gathering of family and friends will be 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 W. Washington St., Charleston.
