Roland Fisher "The Mayor of Grapevine" 78 of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2014. He was retired from Kanawha Manufacturing as Maintenance Foreman with 27 years of service, Deacon and longtime member of Grapevine Chapel. He spent several years as a "Band Dad" traveling with DuPont and Herbert Hoover High Schools and was a grandfather figure to many band kids in Kanawha County. Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy; son Cam and mother Ruby Boggess. Survivors include his daughter, Meleah Fisher; sister, Patty Atkinson and several neighbors that he thought of as family, and his five WV brown dogs. Graveside services and burial will be 12:00 Noon Friday September 26, 2014 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico with Pastor George Webb officiating. Visitation with the family will be Thursday September 25, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home.
