Roger Lee Allen, known as Superman by many, was called home on august 8,2018. he was a graduate of Nitro High School, and was self employed at Allen's Tune-Up Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Delphia (Hedrick) Allen; his sister, Linda (Allen) Campbell; son, Eric Scott Allen; and his feline companion Mr. Sli. Left to cherish his memory are, his children, Chris Allen and Heather (Allen) Markham (Joey); grandchildren, Tristan Nogoda, Izabella Allen, Zimeera Johnson and Jaxson Markham; companion, Tammy Dempsey, and her children Dustin Ferrell (Kathy) and Brittany Dempsey (Chris). A memorial Service to celebrate Roger's life will be held at 6 P.M., Tuesday, August 14th at the Church of god Mission on Valley Drive in Nitro, with Pastor Delbert Hawley officiating.
