Robert K. Canter, Jr. 64 of Walton went home to be with the Lord June 18, 2013 after a long illness. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman, enjoyed NASCAR, The Cooking Channel, and was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. Preceding him in death were his son, Timothy Canter and parents Robert Canter and Lois Ann Canter-Dandy. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years Naomi R. Canter; sons, Robert K. Canter, III of Beckley and Travis Canter of Walton; daughter, Tina Parrish and husband Tom of Pinch; brothers, Johnny and David; sisters, Nancy, Jeanie and Brenda. Grandchildren, Tommy and Mandy Parrish, Dylan and Aadan Canter. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews who are left to mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services on Saturday.
