Robert A. "Bob" Good, 73, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2012 after a long illness. He retired from the City of Charleston after 18 years of service, and attended Goldtown Community Church for over 20 years. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Albert Good and Gracie Thaxton Harrison, and his sister Roxalie Thaxton. Surviving Bob is his loving wife of 45 years Judy M. Good; sister, Tina Fowler of Charleston, brother-in-law, Hansel Thaxton of Charleston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who are also left to mourn his passing. Those who wish may make Memorial Donations in Bob's name to Goldtown Community Church, 1713 Route 21, Kenna, WV 25248. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 16, 2012 at Goldtown Community Church with the Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to services also at the church.
