Richard "Dickie" Wehrle
Richard "Dickie" Wehrle, 77, of Charleston, passed away, April 18, 2018, after a long battle of cancer.
He was preceded in death by parents, Norman and Lena Wehrle; brother, Harry Don Wehrle; and son, Russell Wehrle.
Dickie was a U.S. Army Veteran, and worked as a painter through Local Painters Union 970. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by: son, Ricky Wehrle; sister, Donna King and Kay Zozula; brother, Norman Skippy Wehrle; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hubbard; two great-grandchildren, Audrey and Sam Hubbard.
Funeral service will be 1 PM, Friday, April 27, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor Richard Wehrle officiating; burial will be in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV, with military graveside rites.
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
