Richard Andrew Parsons, 53, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Richard enjoyed fishing and loved traveling to Florida to spend time at the beach. He was also an avid WVU football fan. He worked in the Café at CAMC, where he made many friends throughout the years.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Otis Parsons; his brother, baby Michael Parsons; and his sister, Karen Reveal.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Tina Parsons; his mother, Judy Parsons; his children, Makayla Tucker (Dillon), Kenny Parsons, and Zack Parsons; his grandchildren, Jacob Tucker, Raegan Parsons, Addison Cooper, and baby Lainey Tucker, who is on the way.

He is also survived by his siblings, Tom (Cheryl) Parsons, Scott (Kim) Parsons, Charlie (Shug) Parsons, Todd (Anita) Parsons, Benji (Christy) Parsons, and sister Pam Parsons; along with several nieces and nephews and many close friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with Richard.

Richard will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his enjoyment of fishing and the beach, his passion for WVU football, and the many lives he touched along the way. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
