Richard Baldwin, 91, of Charleston, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 13, 1934, to the late Marvin Alto and Elsie Baldwin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Loshie Gay Baldwin; son, Dennis Ray Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Coda Sue and Woodrow Willard; and brothers, Bob, Danny, and Greg Baldwin.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Ronald Baldwin (Debbie); daughter, Pamela Baldwin; sisters, Barbara Baldwin and Lisa Kiser; grandchildren, Rhonda Parker (James), Ronald Baldwin (Kelsey), Joseph Baldwin (Ronda), Marvin Willard (Crystal), Tiara Kirkland (Chris), Nicole Mann (Lamont), Richard Eads (Breanna), and Jessica Scruggs (David); several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Charleston Mountain Mission Church, with Pastor Kenny Petry officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories with military honors.
